It takes several weeks to craft each piece. My pots are thrown on the wheel and then once hardened the shape is refined by trimming off any excess clay.

Once the form is finished it needs to dry slowly to avoid cracking, a process which can’t be rushed and can take several weeks depending on the weather!

Each piece is then fired to 1000 C before being glazed to add colour and seal the surface of the pot so it can be used. Finally the pots are fired for a second time to a temperature of 1230 C.

Handmade, using natural materials, each piece has subtle variations in glaze and shape, qualities which should be embraced.

All my kitchenware is dishwasher and microwave friendly, however please avoid sudden temperature changes which could cause thermal shock.
